We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Data Center Engineer to join our team. Having depth and breadth of knowledge working in data center facilities in a large-scale distributed environment is a strength you’ll need. You should have deep knowledge and experience in at least one of the following core areas: Hardware Operations, Network Operations or Data Center Operations.

DescriptionThe Systems and Infrastructure team builds and manages world class services and physical infrastructure for Apple software engineers world wide to build, test, and release Apple’s software.

Minimum QualificationsHave 7+ years of experience in large-scale data center hardware deployments, building data centers and directly lead data center relocation projects.
BS, BA, or BEng degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrate ability to prioritize effectively, and experience with technical project management.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of users and staff.
Strong collaborative skills with ability to work cross functionally to resolve complex issues and meet project timelines.
Experience developing and reviewing MOPs and SOPs.
Work autonomously with minimal direction.

Preferred QualificationsBuild automation tools that eliminate routine tasks. Every manual process is an opportunity to code a solution.
Experience with Unix/Linux systems administration and command-line diagnostic tools.
