<p><strong style=”font-size:inherit;”>Job Description:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>We have multiple needs open for data center technicians. These technicians will be doing IT cabling on a grand scale. We have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for a large data center in Sandston, VA. We have openings for entry level and mid-level technicians!</span><p> <p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>Your role will be to assist the higher-level techs and the team leads in building out the infrastructure to include pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate cable & fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, and build server racks, and assisting with electronic security installation.</span><p> <p><strong style=”font-size:inherit;”>Role Responsibilities:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>1. Assist with running, terminating, and installing IT cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and Fiber Optics)</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>2. Install grounding for server racks, equipment, and cable as required. (heavy Cisco environment)</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>3. Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and on low voltage devices</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>4. Terminate low-voltage devices and IT hardware. (Cameras, servers, switches, etc.)</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>5. Follow blueprints precisely to ensure the work is being carried out correctly.</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>6. Fully complete all paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>7. Adhere to and participate in all company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.</span><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>8. Other responsibilities as assigned.</span><p> <p><strong style=”font-size:inherit;”>Additional Skills & Qualifications:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:inherit;”>Punctual and team player, able to flexible on hours. Typically these locations are under construction of some form. Candidates must be comfortable wearing PPE (steel toe boots, vest, hard hat, goggles/glasses, and gloves)</span></p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
