Level 4 Datacenter Technician

<p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Will work 100% onsite in Mount Pleasant WI</strong><p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Seeking Level 4 Datacenter Technicians</strong><p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Job Description:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside of a hyperscale enterprise DC environment in Mount Pleasant WI.</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>Level 4 Technicians</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>- Experience Level: mid to expert level</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>- Skills:</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>- 5+ years of dedicated DC Experience Required. Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>- Strong understanding of fiber optic cabling, splicing, and testing.</span><p><span style=”font-size:11pt;”>- Familiarity with structured cabling standards and physical layer validation.</span><p><span style=”font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;font-size:11pt;”>- Fiber validation</span><p><span style=”font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;font-size:11pt;”>- Ability to follow and improve upon existing SOPs.</span><p><span style=”font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;font-size:11pt;”>- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.</span><p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Summary:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:14px;”>The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.</span><p><span style=”font-size:14px;”>As a Data Center Technician (DCT), you will demonstrate expertise in standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment, as well as a holistic understanding of the functions of, and interactions between, network and server equipment. You will provide input for suggested modifications to these processes and procedures as needed to improve service quality and efficiency while providing guidance to other technicians.</span><p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>5+ years of DC experience.</span></li><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.</span></li><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.</span></li><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).</span></li><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.</span></li><li><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.</span></li></ul><p><strong style=”font-size:14px;”>Top Skills:</strong><p><span style=”font-size:14px;”>Data Center, Servers, Break/fix, Rack & Stack, Deployment, Cable, Cabling, Hardware</span></p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $44.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
