Rumble is seeking an experienced Data Center Systems Administrator responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical data center infrastructure. As a key member of the Data Center Services Team, you will:
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Build, configure, and deploy physical and virtual servers for various applications.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and health checks on servers.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop and run scripts for streamlining and automation.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Perform OS and security patching and upgrades.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently and effectively.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Monitor infrastructure-related tickets and respond within established SLAs.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Create and maintain clear technical documentation, processes, and procedures.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Travel to data center locations as required to support operations.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of experience working with and building virtual machine–based solutions.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of overall server administration experience (hardware and OS).</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a high-performing team.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication skills and proficiency in documentation.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to think creatively and propose non-traditional or innovative solutions.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Extensive experience with open-source Linux software environments</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Proxmox or similar open-source virtual machine environments and containers.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of installation and startup of open-source databases.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Networking experience (switching, routing, or data center network fundamentals).</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong awareness of security and compliance best practices.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Python scripting experience.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bash scripting experience.</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Linux certification, CompTIA A+, or equivalent technical experience.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience with one or more programming languages.</li>
</ul>
Annual Compensation Range: 
$74,000-110,000 USD base + benefits + equity (If based in the United States)
