How You’ll Contribute

As a Data Center  + Mission Critical Superintendent, you’ll lead field operations for complex, high-stakes projects that require precision, coordination, and calm under pressure. You’ll be a key member of our project leadership team from groundbreaking to closeout.

Project Oversight & Leadership

  • Lead daily on-site construction activities for team members and trade partners
  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure all phases meet schedule, quality, and safety standards
  • Communicate job expectations clearly to all field personnel and partners
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve schedule or coordination issues

Planning & Execution

  • Schedule field staff and ensure appropriate trade partner manpower to meet project milestones
  • Facilitate pull planning/LPS system to ensure the quality of schedule and milestones
  • Facilitate weekly foreman meetings and maintain detailed jobsite records
  • Plan for and schedule materials, equipment, and inspections
  • Ensure timely completion of punch lists and successful project turnover

MEP & Technical Expertise

  • Interpret MEP design drawings and specifications with confidence
  • Lead and coordinate high-voltage and shutdown meetings
  • Understand the inspection and permitting processes in mission-critical environments

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a hospitable point of contact for clients, design partners, trade partners, and internal teams
  • Provide consistent updates to project management and facilitate field-to-office communication

Safety & Culture

  • Promote and enforce job site safety; rectify hazards promptly
  • Create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment on-site
  • Foster a culture of mutual respect, accountability, and team excellence
  • Be a role model for safety and hospitality, setting the tone for a positive, productive jobsite culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a superintendent or General Foreman in commercial construction or MEP Construction
  • Previous construction experience building Data Centers or Mission Critical Environments
  • Proficiency with MEP systems, high-voltage coordination, and shutdown protocols
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, trade scopes, and site logistics
  • A humble, team-oriented approach and the ability to manage several tasks at once while keeping a cool head when things get tough
  • Confidence in reading plans, coordinating teams, and adapting to change.
  • OSHA certification
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, construction platforms like Procore, Google tools,  Microsoft Office tools, and Apple devices
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record

What Will Set You Apart

  • Familiarity with EOS/Traction-led environments or similar entrepreneurial cultures
  • Experience scheduling integrated teams using Primavera scheduling software
  • Deep knowledge of safety protocols and permitting processes
  • Ability to travel up to 100%

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 annual salary (paid weekly) + discretionary bonus.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Non-union employees receive health, dental, vision, HSA with employer contribution, and 401k plan with employer contribution.  (Note: for union-affiliated positions, benefits and other terms of employment are subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement)

Interview Process

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role is active and hands-on. You’ll spend most of your time on construction sites, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, crouching, kneeling, and occasionally lifting materials. You’ll need clear vision, good hearing, and strong communication to stay safe and effective. Some desk time is required for updating schedules, reviewing plans, and sending project updates.

You’ll work in a mix of environments—from climate-controlled buildings to outdoor sites in all kinds of weather. Renovation projects may involve exposure to existing materials or conditions that require extra precautions. PPE is provided and expected when needed. Sites can be loud, dusty, and fast-paced, and we count on our superintendents to lead with safety and professionalism.
